Heading for Revenge 03/29/2008

Native story of the man and the burning boat incorporated as an addition to Nall Mann’s story by Historian Cire Darb
The villagers gathered at the river’s edge staring at the sky.   A plume of black smoke traveled through the sky coming closer and closer.   Then they saw it coming around the bend in the river  -a  large Steam Wheeler awash in flames.  Like a fiery beast straight out of hell.  The large boat headed straight for the opposite shore.   The villagers watched in fear as the boat crashed into the bank of the river at full speed  disintegrating as it the fire leapt from the boat and into the trees lining the river.
Then a small boy shouted pointing along the shore on their side of the river as a man approached.   The villagers grabbed their spears fearful of this man. --but the man gave them no notice at all and just walked right past them .  Water dripped from his clothing as he passed.  They say his eyes were  on fire just like the boat.

"Where is it?"  The Pineappleman yelled.
"Coat pocket"  The Fat Man’s son murmured.
The Pineappleman loosened his grip grabbing the book out of the Fat Man’s son’s pocket--then quickly turned back and slit the Fat Man’s son’s throat.  As fire burst into the Wheelhouse --The Pineappleman removed the Fat Man’s son head and placed it  in satchel as the flames began to engulf the entire room. Blood Boat 03/21/2008

From the writing of Nalla Mann--Bartender of the Bloody Nall Tavern

A gunshot burst through the wood paneling barely missing the Pineappleman’s head.  He had to act quickly—before he was either shot or burned to death.   He put his gun away and held gripped  his Machete.   He rolled away from the window into a crouch and then sprang into the air crashing shoulder first through the glass window into the Wheelhouse sending shards of glass in all the directions.  The Fat Man’s son stood their in stunned disbelief  --aiming his gun at the Pineappleman only to discover that  the gun was no longer there and neither was his hand which had been severed completely off by a quick throw from the Pineappleman’s Machete.   The Fat Man’s son screamed out in agony. The Pineappleman ran across the space between them tackling the Fat Man’s son to the ground.

Blood Boat 03/17/2008

From the writing of Nalla Mann--Bartender of the Bloody Nall Tavern
The fire quickly made its way up the stairway closing in on the men trapped between their shipmates corpse and the approaching flames.   They had three choices abandon ship ---be shot or burn to death.  As the point of decision drew closer-each man made up his own mind---All but one choose to  leap over the side of the boat in the river.  The one remaining man  ran out at the Pineappleman his pants already engulfed in flames and he was instantly shot down his body  now covered in fire and he rolled around on the deck.   The fire continued toward the Pineappleman.   He had to get into the Wheelhouse without getting himself shot again and get the book away from the Fat Man’s son before they both burned to death.

Blood Boat 03/13/2008

From the writing of Nalla Mann--Bartender of the Bloody Nall Tavern
"Come out and face me you bastard"  The Pineappleman yelled while clutching his injured arm.
The Fat Man’s son remained silent--hiding inside the Wheelhouse--waiting for the men to make there way past the  large bodyguards  bullet riddled corpse. The Pineappleman reloaded his gun and started picking off the  men as they began to reach the top of the stairway.  The others backed down again not  wanting to be the Pineappleman’s  next victim.  Meanwhile the Fat Man’s son barked out angry commands from the Wheelhouse.  The fire left unattended had begun to take on a life of its own engulfing the back of the boat and was now climbing up the stairs towards  everyone.

From the writing of Nalla Mann--Bartender of the Bloody Nall Tavern
The Pineappleman shot the large man in the groin --The man crumbled over dropping the axe. The Pineappleman leapt past him grabbing the axe as he went by  just as the men below had made their way to the bottom of the staircase opening fire into the Bodyguard as the Pineappleman dove for cover on the other side of the large man's body.   Then a shot rang out from the Wheelhouse---The bullet tore into the Pineappleman's left arm sending him to the deck.   He scrambled up against the side of the Wheelhouse under one of the windows.

Blood Boat 03/09/2008

From the writing of Nalla Mann--Bartender of the Bloody Nall Tavern
Hiding behind the crates as bullets riddled the deck around him--he desperately needed a distraction.  And then  he found it amongst the shattered crates---makings of a fire bomb.  He stretched out reaching for the bottle of booze-almost getting his hand shot off in the process.  He then lit his creation and tossed it towards the men that had been working their way down the other side of the boat.  His make shift bomb exploded into a fiery ball on a bunch of supplies that were lining that side of the deck.  The me jumped back for cover away from the flames.  The Pineappleman had to move fast and he did.   Using the distraction he rolled out from behind the crates and took a shot at the man on the second deck that was momentarily looking over at the fire.  Just as the man looked back toward the Pineappleman a bullet pierced the man's chest sending him crashing to the ground. The Pineappleman sprinted straight toward the staircase bullets following behind him from the other men now reacting after the distraction of the fire.  The Pineappleman dashed up the staircase only to have his way blocked by  a large man with an axe.
