sanctuary of Illum (Feb 27th 2007) (Prelude to the Dark Fortress)

After  they made passionate love—he just laid in bed with the cute little brunette asleep in his arms.  For some reason even with all his doubts about this place he felt like he could trust this girl .  Something about her eyes…   He laid there for hours just thinking about the journey to this place and what may still lay ahead.  Eventually the girl woke up.  Sunrise her name was he remembered now.  She just stared up at him.

"What is it ?"  He said

"You make me feel safe for some reason." She said.

"Do you have reason to feel unsafe here?"  He asked

"No---not at all she responded"/

But he could see something in those eyes ---or something behind them that made him feel that it wasn't completely true.

He said "  If there is anything you need to tell me I might be able to help"

She looked at the light in the doorway and said  "   I'm going to be late---I have to go help and prepare for the feast"

She threw on her dress and headed out the door  --glancing back at him as she left.
