Dark Cavern From Tocs Eloc—Tribal Legend -translation of verbal telling by Cire Darb He continued to scramble up the rock face as the Creatures began to close in on him. He could see the ledge directly above him. He frantically kept climbing --if one of the creatures grabbed him he was doomed. He stretched his fingertips and grabbed ahold of the ledge pulling himself up. Getting to his feet he turned back to look at the ledge. He decided to make his stand here and face the Creatures as the came over the edge of the drop. He waited for the first Creature to appear with his Machete in hand. But the Creatures never came over the top . He walked forward to peer over the edge and looking over saw nothing but the darkness below. "This is not good" He said aloud

Making his way around the icy underground pool of water he found a climbable pathway that lead back to the upper sections of the cave. Slowly he started to make his way up the steep dark rock face. Then a loud animal cry rang out from below him. Then another and then a another all in unison now. "oh god" He muttered aloud "There are more of them". He froze clinging to the rock hoping they wouldn't spot him in the darkness. But 2 of the Creatures backed away from their fallen comrade and began to walk in his direction then once they spotted him they began to run. He hastened his pace climbing the rock face pulling his way up the rocks as the Creatures quickly gained on him. His lost his footing and nearly fell sending a shower of loose rocks down toward his angry pursuers Regaining his balance he continued to pull his way up the rocks

Dark Cavern From Tocs Eloc—Tribal Legend -translation of verbal telling by Cire Darb He awoke his eyes staring directly into the gaping jaws of the Creature. Green ooze dripping from its teeth into his face. Panicked he threw the Creature off of him. The Creature didn't move –his machete was lodged into the Creatures chest. He rolled to his knees –wiping the ooze form his face –then realized that he was no longer in pain. He reached down to feel that the wound he had suffered was completely gone. The Creatures blood was the secret he was looking for. He pulled his machete from the Creature's chest and drained some of its blood into his canteen.

Dark Cavern From Tocs Eloc—Tribal Legend -translation of verbal telling by Cire Darb The Creature roared at the Pineappleman –it's hot foul breath blasting him in the face. The Creature then threw the rock down barely missing –the Pineappleman as he used the last of his strength to roll to the side to avoid it. He turned and looked back up at the Creature which was extremely angry at having missed him. The creature leapt at him his closed fists connecting with the Pineappleman's head as he thrust his machete upward into a gap in the Creatures abdomen –. The Creature landed upon him and everything went dark

Dark Cavern From Tocs Eloc—Tribal Legend -translation of verbal telling by Cire Darb The creature plodded across the wet stones of the underground lakes shore toward the Pineappleman. The Pineappleman could barely move pulling himself up against a large rock for support. His eyes still adjusting to the darkness---he could barely make out the hulking beast as it approached . He listened to its padded feet slapping against the stones as it grew closer and closer. Then he could hear its heavy breathing as it was almost upon him. The Creature looked down at the helpless Pineappleman picking up and large rock to crush him with. The Creature was now right on top of him looming over him in the murky darkness. The Pineappleman struggled to lift his Machete to defend himself

Dark Cavern From Tocs Eloc—Tribal Legend -translation of verbal telling by Cire Darb He Swam in no particular direction until his hand hit the bottom . He dragged himself out of the shallow water and collapsed on the ground. The wound across his chest was gaping. He was out of breath and his head was dizzy. His eyes had adjusted somewhat to the darkness during his swim –he could barely make out the greenish glow from the ledge which he had plummeted into the icy darkness below. As he tried to relax and catch his breath—he heard a noise coming up behind him on the shoreline  --footsteps coming toward him across the rocks

Dark Cavern From Tocs Eloc—Tribal Legend -translation of verbal telling by Cire Darb Sailing into the darkness -his life flashed before his eyes. There was a lot of blood in those flashes. He fell silently through the black then with a splash found himself submerged underwater –with no light to determine which way was up. He struggled to calm himself – (Think ) he told himself. His entire world was utterly dark. Blowing some bubbles and feeling which direction they went he began to swim for the surface. His chest felt as if it was going to explode . Then he Broke the surface gasping for air. – he lay on his back trying to catch his breath –. He chest still ached and he rubbed his hand across it feeling a deep gash.

Dark Cavern From Tocs Eloc—Tribal Legend -translation of verbal telling by Cire Darb The creature reared up on its hind legs standing over ten feet tall. The Pineappleman fired a shot into the creatures chest—but the bullet just ricocheted off as if the thing were made of steel. He fired a second shot –which bounced away as well. The Creature then got back on all fours and charged. With all of his strength the Pineappleman unleashed his machete upon the Creature's shoulder –but his blade bounced off the creature and the Creature then struck the Pineappleman with a blow across his body that sent him backwards over the ledge and into the dark abyss below

Dark Cavern From Tocs Eloc—Tribal Legend -translation of verbal telling by Cire Darb Twisting his way through the maze of rocks in the strange light he slipped and fell sliding to a stop in the mud at the edge of what appeared to be a drop off the bottom of which he couldn't see in the dim green light. Slowly pulling his gun out of its holster he turned and stared back at the creature which stood several yards away just staring at him. From what he could make out of the creature in the darkness it had a sharp angular head. It's jaws were open baring sharp teeth that dripped with saliva in anticipation of its meal. As the Pineappleman aimed at the creature it just stared at him swaying back and forth

Dark Cavern From Tocs Eloc—Tribal Legend -translation of verbal telling by Cire Darb Reacting swiftly –he dove into a forward roll just as the creature dropped down towards him. The creature landed with a heavy thud into the empty space the Pineappleman had just occupied. Unfortunately the lantern he had been carrying had shattered during his roll and the his light was now gone. He tossed the broken lantern in the creatures direction and with only the eerie green light from the walls to guide him he darted deeper into the cave scrambling over the rocks that littered the ground. Nearly losing his footing several times on the damp ground with the creature in pursuit of him close enough that he could feel its hot rancid breath on the back of his neck
