Dark Cavern From Tocs Eloc—Tribal Legend -translation of verbal telling by Cire Darb Sailing into the darkness -his life flashed before his eyes. There was a lot of blood in those flashes. He fell silently through the black then with a splash found himself submerged underwater –with no light to determine which way was up. He struggled to calm himself – (Think ) he told himself. His entire world was utterly dark. Blowing some bubbles and feeling which direction they went he began to swim for the surface. His chest felt as if it was going to explode . Then he Broke the surface gasping for air. – he lay on his back trying to catch his breath –. He chest still ached and he rubbed his hand across it feeling a deep gash.
