 | Dark Cavern From Tocs Eloc—Tribal Legend -translation of verbal telling by Cire Darb He awoke his eyes staring directly into the gaping jaws of the Creature. Green ooze dripping from its teeth into his face. Panicked he threw the Creature off of him. The Creature didn't move –his machete was lodged into the Creatures chest. He rolled to his knees –wiping the ooze form his face –then realized that he was no longer in pain. He reached down to feel that the wound he had suffered was completely gone. The Creatures blood was the secret he was looking for. He pulled his machete from the Creature's chest and drained some of its blood into his canteen. |
