Temple of the Monks (04/26/2007)

From the writing of Nalla Mann --Bartender of the Bloody Nall Tavern

The Pineappleman and Kandu crept back into the darkness of the tunnel. Then the Pineappleman whispered "So that explains the great mystery of how the Monks survive out in the far corner of the unknown territory without fear of the cannibal tribes. They themselves are cannibals and from the look of it their religion is possibly the reason behind all the cannibalism in this area. The tribes must worship them. We need to find those prisoners now." The Pineappleman motioned for the men to follow and then continued down past the ledge opening and into the heart of the tunnel passage again. The tunnel headed deeper into the earth beneath the level of the chamber where the fiendish ceremony continued. The Pineappleman lead them into darkness—the tunnel dumped into a steep staircase that lead even deeper . As they started down the stairway he could hear the faint echo of someone screaming. Without concern for the darkness he leapt down the stairway at a frenzied pace. The stairway spiraled down into a dungeon with locked cages and several large village cannibal guardsman. The guards turned around shocked to see the Pineappleman as he barreled at a full run into the room with his machete in hand
