Dinner has been cancelled (03/12/2007)

Kandu pulled the still breathing Warrior off of the Pineappleman tossing him to the ground.

"Are you ok?" He asked.

The Pineappleman wiping the bloody nick on his neck and rasped "I think so"



He reached over and grabbed his machete up out of the dirt. Turned back to the warrior that lay gasping on the ground ---blood pouring out of the hole in his chest. The Pineappleman picked up his machete from the ground and chopped into the back of the Warriors neck—nearly severing his head. He wiped off the blade on a piece of cloth from the table then walked over and starting cutting free the remaining captives.



"Let's get the hell out of here" he said.

Kandu picked the still sobbing Mona and tossed her over his shoulder and headed out of the camp with the captives trailing behind him. The eyes of the cannibal women and children –peering out at them from the tree line. –The Pineappleman remained behind---he dragged over the bodies of the killed captives over to the fire—including Mona's brother. Then he grabbed some torches and walked around the camp lighting all the dwellings on fire. As the last hut burst into flames he turned to the tree line and yelled out loud "Dinner has been cancelled"
