From the writing of Nalla Mann --Bartender of the Bloody Nall Tavern
Carefully they ascended the steps under the cover of darkness engulfed in the thick ghostly mist. Probing with each step for solid ground in order to remain on the stone stairway. They linked hands because the mist was so thick that they couldn't visually see the man in front of them and one misstep would lead to a deadly disastrous fall. And to make things worse the path was extremely slippery from the mists. The had been making slow progress ascending for nearly an hour with no idea how much further they had to go. Then there was a scream as one of the men slipped and fell almost taking the man in front of him with him. They all stopped for a second linked back up again and continued their ascent.
